Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms form a binding agreement between you (and the business you represent) and UnpackFi. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to do so.

2. The service

UnpackFi is a financial understanding tool for small business owners. It organizes the information you provide and explains it through dashboards, reports, goals, forecasts, what-if scenarios, break-even analysis and the Sidekick assistant.

3. Not professional advice

UnpackFi is not an accounting, bookkeeping, tax, legal or investment service, and we are not your accountant, CPA, attorney or fiduciary. Insights, forecasts, benchmarks and Sidekick answers are educational, are based on the information you supply, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and must not be used as a substitute for professional advice. Always confirm important financial, tax or legal decisions with a qualified professional.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration details, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

5. Subscription, billing and cancellation

Access is $49 per month, month to month, billed in advance through our payment processor. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion. Applicable taxes may be added. If a payment fails we may retry it and, after notice, suspend access.

6. Your data

You keep all rights to the information you upload or enter. You grant us the limited right to host and process it in order to provide the service to you. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you provide and for having the right to share it. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no unlawful activity, no uploading content you lack rights to, no attempts to breach security or access other accounts, no scraping, reverse engineering, reselling or sharing your access outside your business, and no interference with the platform's normal operation.

8. Our intellectual property

The UnpackFi software, brand, designs and educational content are owned by UnpackFi. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your subscription is active.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep UnpackFi available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change or discontinue features. If we materially change these terms or pricing, we will notify account holders in advance, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy of results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, UnpackFi is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business decisions made in reliance on the service, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using UnpackFi at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or unlawful use. On termination your right to use the service ends; data retention and deletion follow the Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, excluding its conflict of law rules, and the parties submit to the courts located there. Questions: support@unpackfi.com.
